You wanted to do a directional run, that is how its called. Im not sure if that is available in FC24 as i didn't buy the game, but its a great feature that existed in FIFA23 and the previous editions. You tap L1 to trigger player run and flick R(dribbling stick) in a direction you want your player to go. That way You can make your player run to any direction, even backwards towards your goal, instead of the traditional run. You may or may not see the green arrows showing the direction your player is taking. maybe you can check that with the trainer. Enable it and hide all the annoying passing and shooting suggestions and direction. Only leave the useful ones like the offside flag that appears when your players are offside.

I only got a PS5 this week and had been playing the last-gen version of the game up until now. I have to say the PS5 version of the gameplay is frustrating, the mechanics are horrendous and the ball bounces everywhere. Luck is such a huge factor in whether you win or lose a match. Last-gen isn't great, but I can't believe the most advanced version of the game is worse.

I'd love to get iconic coaches into this game. Make em premium chem too and I'll pay whatever price. Cruyff in that classic khaki coat on the sidelines.. WOWZA!
